Support for Moodle versions 1.6.x and 1.7.x Withdrawn

Martin Dougiamas, founder and lead developer of Moodle, today announced that all further support and development for the older Moodle versions 1.6 and 1.7 would cease, effective immediately after the next maintenance release.

If you are currently still running Moodle version 1.6 or 1.7, and host with us or are supported by us, please contact us so that we can schedule in an upgrade for you.

The latest Moodle stable release is 1.9.6

Mac 4x4 Challenge Results
Hi folks. We came in at 44th position overall, out of a field of 66 teams. The total raised by our team was £1,582.56 (including Gift Aid). The total raised by all the teams for this year's event is currently over £100,000 and funds are still trickling in.

This means that the event has raised, since it started, over half a million pounds for Macmillan Cancer Care!
