Welcome to pteppic.net

Thank you for visiting this site.

At the moment, pteppic.net is being re-vamped, using new Content Management Software, and will return to service as soon as possible.

In the meantime, if you are looking for Professional Moodle Services, please note that pteppic.net is now a private domain. Instead, you should go to http://www.remote-learner.co.uk/ which is the site for the Moodle Partnership that acquired the pteppic.net moodle partner business back in 2011.

It is all go here

The UK part of Remote-Learner, which used to be pteppic.net, was sold to Blackboard back in April this year.

I wish I could say that this has made me a load of money, but I didn't get a penny from it.  However what it *DID* do is safeguard the jobs of myself and my old friends and colleagues in Remote-Learner UK, most of whom have been with me from the beginning of RL-UK, or even earlier, back in the pteppic.net days.

So things move on.  I think it is a positive move.  We are now part of an organisation more than ten times the size of our previous owners, and if this means that some things are more formal and bureaucratic, it does at least mean that we are better funded.

Please Help My Friend

My friend Michelle, over in California (near Sacramento) suffered a devastating blow last week when she got home from work to find that her house had burned down.  She was not insured and she and her son have lost everything.

Please help if you can, by donating whatever you can manage, through the fund campaign that I have set up.

Thank you.

My daughter and some of her school friends have just taken part in the junior section of the Gold Coast Secondary Schools Annual Drama Festival, and won individual "Highly Commended" certificates, AND the adjudicator's award for the best ensemble piece.

Aussie life, and my daughter

Published July 21, 2014 By Administrator
I've been spending time in Australia this summer (Winter, down here) visiting my daughter and her Australian family.

I have to say, you can have a very nice lifestyle down here, at least in Northern New South Wales / Southern Queensland, where I am at present, where, even in the middle of winter the temperature rarely gets below 17 degrees centigrade and is often 20 or 21.  The local Australians consider this cold, of course.

The food is good, the roads rarely busy (except in places like Surfers Paradise during the rush hour), the scenery often spectacular and the people are for the most part incredibly friendly and helpful.

I could move here permanently...I could...

My daughter has just turned thirteen.  And I have to say she is far and away the best thing I have ever produced :-)
